Rapture

Greenman, Lord of forest and field,
Seasonal King of all the Land –
Foliated man, Lord to his Lady,
Protector, caretaker, of all her realm.

As you hold her, green skin next to ivory,
Soft and warm and full of sweet life,
Eyes meet, breaths deepen, lust happens
As seeds yet to come beseech your fruitful union.

Skin color of Summertime ivy and oak and yew,
Burning with the fire of youth – yet knowing of old,
Gentle with caring, kind and tender as the ferns
Yet with her touch, her beauty, hardness grows…

With blue-green eyes he peers into hers,
Eyes color of the sea, of the trees, of the sky,
Eyes full of passion as breaths quicken, as lips meet,
As hands roam here and there, grasping, touching, exploring…

The Earth trembles as with thunder
Yet no clouds are found in the sky
As root delves into softly yielding soil,
Winds quicken and trees dance about with joy…

For long does this storm, yet not a storm,
Rage with its private rapture o’er the Land
As morning dews flow down the branches –
Anticipating, expecting, awaiting, wanting

Frenzied with the fire of lust for his Lady,
Passions build as thrusts go deep within
As eyes glaze, as lips part and meet
The world strains toward their union, alive!

Then with sudden fury as with a tornado touching the ground
The gale whips the treetops and branches are heard to moan;
But more suddenly than it began, as with the eye of a storm,
Peace and sudden calm return, as with gentle smiles,
green cheek nestles softly ‘gainst blushing alabaster
as sleep joyfully finds them, as all the Earth looks on…
